Greater Boston Stage Co.The Greater Boston Stage Company (formerly Stoneham Theatre) helps keep the art of professional theater thriving in the suburbs. Along with 6-7 shows each year on the mainstage, there are also special events and productions from their program for students in grades 1-12.

stone zooAlong with being a great family day out, the Stone Zoo offers events such as A Wild Affair and the annual Zoo Lights, where you can visit with Santa, the reindeer and even ride a camel. Don't miss the fantastic bird show in season.

farmers marketInaugurated in 2015, the Thursday Stoneham Farmers Market has vendors for everything from local meats, bread, pasta, and cookies to fruit, veggies and even soap. Some vendors are even making winter deliveries.

Got Skates? Try out the free ice rink on the Stoneham Town Common. The rink is open from 9 am to 9 pm daily (weather permitting) in January and Feburary. You'll need to bring your own skates.
